CRIME: ‘Operation Mongolian Beef’ Strikes Massive Blow Against Violent Gang Activity

In a decisive victory for law and order, federal and local authorities apprehended 28 members of the notorious Mongols motorcycle gang in “Operation Mongolian Beef,” a crackdown following a violent shootout with rival gang the Warlocks in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The operation, led by the FBI’s Jacksonville Division, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO), and Florida’s Seventh Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, demonstrates the relentless commitment of President Donald Trump’s pro-police administration to dismantle criminal networks and restore safety to American communities.

While the liberal media often downplays the dangers of organized crime and demonizes law enforcement, this operation highlights the critical work being done to protect innocent citizens from violent felons. The March 8 shooting, which left two people wounded, could have been another tragic headline ignored by the left—had it not been for the swift and aggressive response from Trump-backed agencies. Sheriff Mike Chitwood underscored the severity of the incident, stating, “Bullets were flying… innocent people were there, children — a busy, busy, busy day.”

The FBI executed 14 search warrants across Florida and Virginia, including a raid on the Mongols’ clubhouse in Edgewater, sending a clear message that gang violence will not be tolerated. Special Agent in Charge Jason Carley emphasized the operation’s success, declaring, “Operation Mongolian Beef is just one example of how the FBI brings our full force of investigative capabilities to assist our law enforcement partners and protect our communities. There is no doubt Volusia County and, in fact, the entire state of Florida is safer today with these violent offenders off the street.”

Unlike the soft-on-crime policies pushed by liberal politicians, President Trump has consistently empowered law enforcement to take bold action against criminal enterprises. The suspects now face charges of aggravated rioting, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison—a stark contrast to the revolving-door justice system championed by the left.

As the investigation continues, three suspects remain at large, but there is no doubt that Trump’s unwavering support for law enforcement will ensure they are brought to justice.
