Fast and Furious: Viral Video Shows Car Launched Through the Air

Last week, a viral video of a car flying through the air after hitting a tow truck ramp on a Georgia highway made its rounds on social media. The driver, a 21-year-old Florida woman, was seriously injured in the crash which was captured on police bodycam footage.

The incident occurred along Highway 84 in Lowndes County, Georgia. According to reports, the driver was speeding down the highway when they came upon an accident scene and didn’t notice the tow truck parked nearby. The car drove up the back of the tow truck’s ramp and launched into the air, flipping several times before crashing onto the highway below.

The video quickly spread across social media platforms with many people commenting on how lucky it was that no one else was hurt in this dramatic crash. The driver sustained serious injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.

This incident serves as an important reminder to always be aware of your surroundings while driving and to always follow posted speed limits. It also highlights how important it is for drivers to be mindful of their speed even when approaching an accident scene or other emergency vehicles.

The video has been viewed millions of times since it went viral last week and has sparked conversations about road safety and awareness among drivers everywhere.

Deputies said that the accident demonstrated why the public should heed Georgia’s Move Over Law, which says, “motorists traveling in the lane adjacent to the shoulder must move over one lane when emergency and utility vehicles are stopped on the side of the highway and operating in an official capacity.”

“Move over. Slow down. Be careful,” stressed Zion. “Try to get rid of all the distractions. Anything that might keep you from getting home safely. Because in the end, that’s what we’re all aiming for, is for everyone to make it to their destination safely.”
