During his speech at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base, President Trump delivered what many are calling the “kiss of death” for Whitmer’s future ambitions. While acknowledging her cooperation on the F-15EX fighter jet project, he made sure to highlight the absurdity of Democrat outrage over their collaboration. “I want to thank Gretchen Whitmer,” Trump said. “You know, I’m not supposed to do that.
