WATCH: KJP – Doocy Battle: Watch Her Storm Out of Briefing Room When Pressed for Answers about Hurricane Aid!

When it comes to answering questions from the media, especially from reporters like Peter Doocy, Karine Jean-Pierre might as well be a master at dodging. The latest display of this nonsense came when Doocy, Fox News’ senior White House correspondent, pressed her on an issue that should matter to every American: Why is the Biden administration sending $157 million in aid to Lebanon while struggling Americans in North Carolina are waiting for relief after Hurricane Helene?

Doocy asked a very straightforward, legitimate question: Why does the administration have money to send overseas without congressional approval, but needs Congress to approve disaster relief for North Carolina?

Seems pretty simple, right? But Jean-Pierre’s answer? Nothing but a bunch of empty words. Instead of providing clarity, she went on her usual rant about how the administration is taking things “very seriously,” throwing in some bureaucratic jargon that didn’t even come close to addressing the issue. She had the audacity to call Doocy’s line of questioning “misinformation.”

“We take this very seriously,” she repeated—again and again, like a broken record. Oh, really? If they’re taking it so seriously, why are the people of North Carolina left waiting for Congress to act, while Lebanon gets a fat check, no questions asked?

The Real Misinformation: KJP’s Non-Answers

Karine Jean-Pierre had the nerve to say that Doocy’s question itself was dangerous because it could lead to people not asking for the help they need. Wait, what? How is asking why foreign countries get priority over American citizens dangerous? The real danger here is the administration’s blatant disregard for its own citizens while bending over backward to appease foreign nations.

This isn’t about misinformation; this is about priorities. And guess what, Karine? Your evasive, condescending response says a lot about this administration’s priorities. When asked about why the administration needs Congress for some aid but not for others, she claims Congress “needs to come back and do their job.” What job is that, exactly? Rubber-stamping more foreign aid while the American people fend for themselves?

Show Me Your Budget, Show Me Your Values

Doocy wasn’t going to let her off that easily, though. He brought up something President Biden loves to say: “Show me your budget, and I will tell you what you value.” Well, what does it say about this administration’s values when they prioritize Lebanon over North Carolina?

Instead of addressing that very valid point, Jean-Pierre doubled down, dismissing the question as misinformation and repeating that they’ve already allocated $200 million for hurricane survivors. But here’s the kicker: They still need Congress to approve more funding for the disaster relief fund. Meanwhile, Lebanon is sitting pretty with its check in hand. Make it make sense!

Kamala’s Katrina?

Let’s not forget that Vice President Kamala Harris is the one who pledged this $157 million in aid to Lebanon while North Carolinians are still picking up the pieces from Hurricane Helene. Texas Governor Greg Abbott nailed it when he said, “This is Kamala’s Katrina.” Americans are suffering, and this administration’s response is to write a big check to a foreign country in the middle of a war zone.

And the backlash doesn’t stop there. Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-NY) put it perfectly when he called this move “tone-deaf.” He’s right! We’ve got Americans in desperate need of help, and this administration is more concerned with looking good on the international stage than actually solving problems at home.

Congress Needs to “Do Their Job”?

Jean-Pierre finished her pathetic attempt at an answer by saying that Congress needs to come back and “do their job” by approving more funding. Well, maybe if this administration wasn’t so busy draining our resources on foreign conflicts, Congress wouldn’t need to bail them out every five minutes!  Then she storms out of the briefing room!

What makes this even more outrageous is that when Doocy asked if Biden’s letter to Congress about the lack of funds was also misinformation, Jean-Pierre deflected again, saying it’s just how he phrased the question. How convenient! Anytime the administration is called out, it’s either “misinformation” or “dangerous.” They’re experts at evading accountability, but the American people aren’t buying it.

Final Thoughts

This administration’s priorities are clear, and unfortunately, they don’t seem to include the American people. They’re more concerned with sending aid overseas and covering their political backsides than with actually helping citizens in need. Karine Jean-Pierre can keep throwing around words like “misinformation,” but the facts are the facts: Americans are suffering, and this administration is letting them down.
