LeBron James is no stranger to hecklers, but this time it was a bit too much. One day last week, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Los Angeles Clippers and during the game, a fan decided to taunt James about his receding hairline.
The fan shouted “Hey Bron! Hey Bron!” the man shouted at James. “You better get this s*** together! With that receding-a** hairline!” as James walked off the court after the game. Security had to step in and hold back James as he attempted to confront the fan.

James has been dealing with jokes about his receding hairline for years now, but this particular incident seemed to be a bit too much for him. He was visibly angry and had to be held back by security before he could do anything else.
This isn’t the first time that James has been taunted about his hairline either. In 2018, a reporter asked him about it during a press conference and he laughed it off saying “I’m cheating worse than Udonis Haslem with that thing” referring to Miami Heat player Udonis Haslem who also suffers from a receding hairline.
“I mean nothing is uncomfortable for me, but there’s a difference between cheering on your home faithful, booing opponents and things of that nature or not wanting your opponents to be successful, and there’s then moments where it goes outside the line with obscene gestures and words that shouldn’t be tolerated in our game from nobody,” James said. “I would never say it to a fan and a fan should never say it to a player.”
Despite all of this, James has managed to keep his sense of humor about it all and even joked about his own hairline on social media earlier this year when he posted an image of himself with what appeared to be a full head of hair. It turns out it was just an old photo from 2012 that had been photoshopped but fans still got a good laugh out of it.
It’s clear that despite all of the jokes and taunts, LeBron James is still able to keep his cool and not let it affect him too much. He knows how to handle himself in these situations and doesn’t let them get under his skin too much.
At the end of the day, LeBron is one of the greatest basketball players ever so whatever anyone says about him or his receding hairline won’t change that fact. He’s still going strong at 38 years old and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon so we can expect more great things from him in the future regardless of what anyone says or thinks about his hairline!
