White House Stands Firm Against Amnesty, Prioritizes Deporting Criminal Illegal Aliens

The liberal media is once again twisting the narrative, attempting to paint President Trump as soft on illegal immigration—but the facts tell a different story. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made it crystal clear this week that “the President does not support amnesty for illegal alien criminals” and emphasized that securing the homeland remains his top priority. This comes as Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) pushes a bipartisan mass amnesty bill, the so-called Dignity Act, which would grant legal status to millions of illegal aliens, including dangerous criminals like MS-13 gang members.

Leavitt shut down speculation that the White House is entertaining this disastrous legislation, stating, “I don’t think that’s the focus of the White House right now in terms of legislative priorities.” Instead, President Trump is focused on deporting criminal illegal aliens, a mission underscored by the recent horrific attack on a Border Patrol officer in New York City, where an illegal alien shot the officer in the face. “The tragic circumstance that took place in New York City this past weekend underscores the priority of this President to secure our homeland,” Leavitt declared.

While the left and their allies in the GOP continue pushing for amnesty under the guise of “work programs,” the Trump administration has not wavered in its commitment to enforcing immigration laws. Leavitt reiterated that “if you are an individual, a foreign national, who illegally enters the United States of America, you are, by definition, a criminal.” This should apply to all illegal aliens—whether they’re working on farms or lurking in our cities.

The liberal media, of course, is desperate to spin this as some kind of policy shift, but the truth is simple: President Trump will never support amnesty. He understands that rewarding lawbreakers only encourages more illegal immigration, putting American lives at risk. Instead of caving to the open-borders lobby, this administration is actually enforcing the law—something the Biden regime refused to do for four disastrous years.

And I think the tragic circumstance that took place in New York City this past weekend underscores the priority of this President to secure our homeland and to deport illegal alien criminals and public safety threats from our country and our community. That’s this President’s priority.

While the media obsesses over fake narratives, President Trump is actually doing the job—deporting criminal aliens, securing the border, and putting Americans first.
