Once again, we saw firsthand how the mainstream media rigs the system, putting their thumb on the scale to help Kamala Harris. The recent debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris was a clear-cut example of how ABC News has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. This wasn’t just Trump vs. Harris; it was Trump vs. Harris, David Muir, and Lindsey Davis. But here’s the kicker – ABC didn’t even try to hide their bias.
Three-on-One
It’s easy to look like you’re winning when the moderators are firmly in your corner. Ben Shapiro, who called out the absurdity of the debate, pointed out that the biggest takeaway wasn’t Trump or Harris but the collapse of media integrity. Muir and Davis weren’t there to moderate; they were there to protect Harris and attack Trump at every turn. From constant fact-checking Trump’s statements to ignoring Harris’s blatant lies, the bias was obvious and embarrassing.
Trump did his best, but the format was stacked against him from the get-go. Instead of pressing Harris on her track record and positions – something 30% of Americans still don’t know – the moderators focused on crowd sizes and January 6th. These are distractions, and unfortunately, Trump got caught in their trap more than once. While his closing statement about Harris’s lack of action was strong, it came too late.
Kamala’s Hollow Pre-Written Platitudes
Kamala Harris is the very definition of a fake, hollow politician. She spends the entire debate spewing rehearsed, pre-written platitudes that reveal nothing about who she really is. Why? Because Harris knows that her far-left radical positions are not electable. This is someone who has spent her entire career taking extreme stances that would make any rational American concerned.
Trump, on the other hand, has a record to stand on. He didn’t need a script and weeks of practice to remind people of his achievements. But Harris? She knows she can’t afford to reveal her true colors. She’s been handed the nomination without getting a single vote – one of the most disgusting political acts in modern history. She’s nothing more than a puppet for the left-wing elites who are pulling the strings behind the scenes.
The fact that Harris could potentially be elected to the highest office in the land is not just dangerous for the U.S., it’s dangerous for the entire planet. Her complete lack of authenticity, her far-left agenda, and her willingness to be controlled by the radical wing of her party make her a threat like no other.
A Disgraceful Display of Media Bias
We all know the media leans left, but this? This was on another level. Trump didn’t just have to debate Kamala Harris – he had to debate ABC News itself. Shapiro’s take on the night summed it up perfectly: the moderators were so far in the tank for Harris, they might as well have been part of her campaign team.
The moderators fact-checked Trump relentlessly while letting Harris spew falsehoods without so much as a second glance. Harris claimed Trump supported a ‘Project 2025 bloodbath’ – a blatant lie – but the moderators didn’t correct her. When Harris lied about Trump’s Charlottesville comments, saying he called neo-Nazis “very fine people,” they stayed silent. How is that journalism?
This wasn’t an isolated incident, either. From the start, ABC News set out to make Trump look bad. David Muir even had the audacity to criticize Trump’s tone, saying he didn’t “hear sarcasm” in one of Trump’s remarks. Since when is it the moderator’s job to be a political analyst? The media’s open disdain for Trump was so obvious, you couldn’t miss it.
CNN’s Surprisingly Balanced Approach
It’s sad to say, but even CNN did a better job in the previous debate. That’s right – CNN, the network that has spent years attacking Trump, at least tried to play it down the middle. Jake Tapper asked real questions and allowed both sides to answer. Compare that to ABC’s tag-team effort with Harris, and it becomes clear that ABC has crossed the line from biased reporting to political activism.
Final Thoughts
This debate wasn’t Trump’s best performance, with two moderators constantly attacking him and giving Harris a free pass, it’s a miracle he got any points across. But this isn’t just about Trump – it’s about the integrity of our democratic process. How can the American people trust the media when they’re openly working to elect one candidate over the other?
ABC News has lost all credibility after this disgraceful display. It’s time we hold them accountable for their blatant partisanship. And if we’ve learned anything from this, it’s that the media is no longer in the business of reporting the news – they’re in the business of choosing our leaders.
