But as usual, they are conveniently ignoring the facts and the true severity of the situation. The Mexican government, the main source of illegal immigration into the US, is now developing an ‘alert button’ app for its citizens who are at risk of being detained by ICE agents.
This app will allow Mexican nationals to press a button that will notify their relatives and the nearest consulate when they believe they are about to be apprehended. And according to Mexican Foreign Minister Juan Ramon de la Fuente, the app has already been tested and is “working very well.” This is just another example of the Mexican government enabling and encouraging illegal immigration into the US.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg. President Trump has laid out a comprehensive plan to tackle the issue of illegal immigration, including the construction of the border wall, relaunch of the Remain in Mexico program, and imposing tariffs on Mexican imports if they do not do more to stop illegal immigration and drug trafficking. And, let’s not forget his promise to launch the largest deportation program in US history.
But instead of acknowledging the severity of the issue and supporting the president’s efforts, the liberal media is painting a sympathetic picture of illegal immigrants. They fail to mention that Mexicans make up the largest percentage of all immigrants in the US and account for nearly half of the 11 million illegal migrants currently residing in the country. This is a blatant disregard for the rule of law and the safety of American citizens.
And while the Mexican president, Claudia Sheinbaum, may have initially threatened a “response in kind” to Trump’s tariff plan, she has now shown a willingness to cooperate with his administration. In fact, she has even declared that Mexico is prepared to accept the massive number of Mexican nationals that will be deported back to their country once Trump’s agenda is in full force. It’s time for the liberal media to take off their blinders and start reporting the facts.
In conclusion, the Mexican government’s development of an ‘alert button’ app for its citizens is just another example of the ongoing problem of illegal immigration that the US faces. It’s time for the liberal media to stop attacking President Trump and start supporting his efforts to protect our borders and ensure the safety of American citizens.
