Delulu CNN Is Still Planning To Get Harris In The Oval Office [Video]

After her resounding loss to President-elect Donald Trump, CNN’s John King suggests that Vice President Kamala Harris could make a comeback and be a prominent Democratic contender in 2028.

During CNN’s coverage of the electoral college certification on Monday, King warned against ruling Harris out of future presidential politics, noting that Trump’s 2024 comeback would be an even more unlikely feat.

But Harris’ potential resurgence doesn’t come without challenges. King points out that she lost all seven battleground states and is viewed by many as a “coastal elite,” with “giant problems.” However, he also acknowledges her popular support among the foundational base of the Democratic Party – black women.

Despite her defeat, Harris won 75 million votes and raised a record-breaking billion dollars. She has a significant political following and could build on that momentum in the future.

But King raises an important question: Do politicians like Harris learn from their mistakes and adapt? While she did have 100+ days to prepare for the race, she also had to contend with a pandemic and a highly divisive political climate.

Political analyst Mark Halperin notes that Harris may have better odds at winning the California governor’s race than securing the Democratic presidential nomination again. However, he cautions that both would be difficult challenges for her, given her tendency to avoid difficult decisions under pressure.

It’s clear that Harris’ political future is uncertain, and she will need to strategically navigate the next few years if she wants to remain a relevant contender in the Democratic Party.

Harris’ potential comeback cannot be underestimated. After all, as King reminds us, four years ago, everyone thought Donald Trump was done – yet here he is, poised to make a comeback himself.
