Hasbulla, who has a form of dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency, is often compared to Khabib Nurmagomedov, a retired UFC champion and fellow Dagestani.

According to a report, Hasbulla was arrested on May 8, 2023, following a wedding celebration in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan. The report claims that Hasbulla and his friends were involved in a brawl with another group of guests at the wedding venue, and that Hasbulla allegedly assaulted a police officer who tried to intervene.
