Jeffries’ Puppet Show: Proof Dems Are Crashing Out! [Video]

For years, the liberal media has insisted that taxpayer funding for PBS and NPR is just a “drop in the bucket,” a tiny fraction of their budgets. Yet, when Republicans finally move to cut this wasteful spending, Democrats lose their minds—and their dignity. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries took theatrics to a new low by waving an Elmo doll on the House floor, as if this childish display somehow justified forcing hardworking Americans to bankroll left-wing propaganda masquerading as “public broadcasting.”

Jeffries’ absurd performance came during debate over the Proposed Rescissions of Budgetary Resources from President Trump, a commonsense measure to claw back $9 billion in unspent or misallocated funds. Instead of addressing the fiscal irresponsibility of bloated federal budgets, Jeffries chose to grandstand with a puppet, whining, “Today, we are on the floor of the House of Representatives debating legislation that targets Elmo. And Big Bird. And Daniel Tiger and ‘Sesame Street.’”

This is the same Democratic Party that lectures Americans about “protecting democracy” while resorting to cheap stunts instead of substantive debate. If PBS funding is truly insignificant, as they claim, why the hysterics? The answer is simple: Democrats rely on PBS and NPR to push their progressive agenda under the guise of “neutral” programming. From climate alarmism to left-wing racial rhetoric, these outlets have long abandoned any pretense of impartiality.

Meanwhile, President Trump continues to deliver real results for the American people—cutting wasteful spending, securing the border, and putting America First. While Democrats clutch Elmo dolls and sob over defunding their propaganda arm, Trump is ensuring taxpayer dollars go toward national security, economic growth, and American families—not leftist indoctrination.

The liberal media, of course, framed Jeffries’ tantrum as a brave stand. But outside their bubble, Americans saw it for what it was: a pathetic distraction from the failures of the left. If Democrats want to be taken seriously, they should drop the puppets and start addressing the real issues facing this country—instead of crying over subsidies for shows that survive just fine without federal handouts.
