Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff recently asked his fans to send “all prayers” for his son Zach, who is currently in the hospital undergoing a major brain surgery.
Matt, 61, took to Instagram to share the news with his followers. He wrote: “Asking for all prayers and good thoughts for my son Zach today as he undergoes an important operation.” The post was accompanied by a photo of Matt and Zach together.

On Wednesday, the reality star, 61, shared a photo of Zach with his children on Instagram, explaining that the 32-year-old is getting a shunt revision.
A shunt is a hollow tube surgically placed in the brain — or occasionally in the spine — to help drain cerebrospinal fluid and redirect it to another location in the body where it can be reabsorbed, according to John Hopkins Medicine.
Though the family has not shared details about the procedure, a shunt revision might alleviate pressure on the brain and target symptoms such as difficulty walking, mild dementia and lack of bladder control.
The reality TV star also shared a video of himself and Zach on Instagram Stories, where he said: “We’re here at the hospital waiting for Zach’s surgery. We’d love your prayers and thoughts if you can spare them. Thanks so much.”
Zach has been featured on Little People, Big World since 2006 when the show first aired on TLC. He is now married to Tori Roloff and they have two children together — Jackson Kyle and Lilah Ray.
The news of Zach’s surgery comes amid reports that there has been tension between him and his father over Roloff Farms in recent years. However, Matt and Zach appeared to have put their differences aside as they were seen bonding in a new clip from Little People, Big World recently.
Tori also took to Instagram to ask her followers for their prayers ahead of her husband’s surgery. She wrote: “Please keep our sweet Z in your thoughts today! He’s having some important brain surgery this morning! We are so grateful for all the love and support we have received already! #roloffstrong #zroloff #lpbw”
We wish Zach all the best during this difficult time and hope that he makes a speedy recovery!
