For many small towns and big cities, football means everything. I grew up surrounded by football and love the game to this day. I know many others feel just the same.
The students at Jefferson High School had a dream of making it to the state championships for football, but the odds seemed stacked against them. With their small and inexperienced team, they had little hope of achieving their goal. However, an unexpected ally soon arrived in the form of a scrappy rescue dog named Lucky who was adopted from a local animal shelter by their coach, and he quickly became an important part of the team.
