Family Feud Takes a New Meaning After Contestant Kills Wife

Timothy Bliefnick, a 39-year-old former contestant on the game show Family Feud, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion in connection with the death of his estranged wife Rebecca Bliefnick.

The arrest came after an investigation by the Quincy Police Department into Rebecca’s death. According to police reports, Rebecca was shot multiple times at her home in Quincy, Illinois on March 13th.

Timothy had appeared on an episode of Family Feud three years prior to his arrest. During the show, host Steve Harvey asked Timothy to predict the most common answer to the question: “What’s the biggest mistake you can make when getting married?” Timothy’s response? “Marrying her.”

The joke elicited laughter from both the audience and fellow contestants, but it has taken on a much darker meaning in light of recent events. After his arrest, many have speculated that Timothy’s comment was a sign that he had already been planning to kill his wife.

Rebecca’s family and friends are still reeling from her death. They remember her as a kind and loving mother of three who worked as a nurse at Blessing Hospital in Quincy for over 10 years. Her co-workers described her as someone who always put others before herself and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

In addition to being charged with murder, Timothy is also facing charges for home invasion after allegedly breaking into Rebecca’s house shortly before she was killed. Police are also searching a lagoon owned by Timothy for any evidence related to Rebecca’s death.

The case against Timothy is still ongoing and it remains unclear what will happen next. Rebecca Bliefnick will be remembered fondly by those who knew her best – not only as a devoted mother but also as someone whose life was tragically cut short due to violence.
